Material Security is looking for a
Sales Development Representative
to join our small, fast-growing and highly experienced sales team. The sales development team plays a critical role in the growth of our organization. Our team works in collaboration with sales and marketing, nurturing leads and setting qualified discovery calls that ultimately lead to new business and new revenue. In this role, you’ll take ownership of building and driving our outbound sales pipeline generation engine to develop high-quality opportunities and contribute to the overall success of our sales function.Responsibilities
Build sales pipeline by setting introductory meetings and net new opportunities with target influencers and key decision makers.Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their sales pipeline and develop your skills.Maintain and enhance our CRM and other internal outbound programs.Research and build new accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating and executing strategic email and social campaigns.Collaborate with sales team on go-to-market strategy, demand generation activities, and targets.What We're Looking For
6+ months in an outbound SDR/BR role and or related work experience.Has a passion for technology and software sales.Strong time management skills.Self-starter mentality - takes initiative to identify and solve problems with urgency.Passionate, hungry, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment.Team player, approachable, and offers to help where needed.Comfortable with making cold calls and writing quality email cadences.Sense of ownership for quota attainment and helping the sales team hit goals.Ability to build relationships with stakeholders within the sales and go-to-market organizations.Strong written and verbal communication and ability to create effective messaging to target accounts.Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact.Experience with sales and or marketing tools such as Hubspot, 6sense, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.Material Security is a remote-first workplace with an office in San Francisco, California.Compensation at Material Security is determined by a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation for this role is $100,000 OTE.
