US Consumer Personal Systems Account Manager (Amazon)Description -This role is responsible for managing the consumer computing business with Amazon.com. This person will manage the laptop, desktop, and monitor categories for HP, while working closely with Amazon as a retailer. The role will manage to a quota while following sales processes and collaborating across functions. The role will work externally (direct) with Amazon's vendor-management team and in-stock teams, as well as the management teams. This role will also collaborate with several different internal functions within HP in order to optimize the key metrics of the position.ResponsibilitiesManage all day to day sales, assortments, promotions, and inventory for the categories.Serve as the expert for all PC and Displays business done on Amazon within the USA market.Collaborate closely (daily) with external partners, specifically Amazon's vendor management and in-stock teams.Work closely with internal teams to drive strategies that align with the organization's strategic objectives and foster their integration into the sales ecosystem.Work with a team to achieve assigned quotas while engaging in transactional and relationship selling in adherence to legal requirements.Contribute to the improvement of partner sales processes and strategies based on feedback and insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as channel development, product marketing, and supply-chain teams to ensure alignment on partner-related initiatives.Assist in the resolution of minor conflicts or issues between partners and the organization.Work with the accounting and finance teams to help investigate, resolve and close any discrepancies from the work in the defined categories.Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth partner interactions and sales processes.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 4-7+ years of work experience, preferably working with the headquarter buying and vendor management teams at major retailers.Experience of 3+ years working with the Consumer Electronics industry is also preferred.Knowledge & SkillsAccount ManagementBusiness DevelopmentBusiness PlanningConsumer Channel Sales (selling into retailers)Customer Relationship ManagementMarket ShareMarketingDigital and Online MerchandisingOutside SalesOmnichannelProduct Knowledge (Personal computers)Sales ManagementSales ProcessSales StrategySelling TechniquesValue PropositionsCross-Org SkillsEffective CommunicationResults OrientationLearning AgilityDigital FluencyCustomer CentricityImpact & ScopeImpacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.ComplexityResponds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.DisclaimerThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
