Technical Trainer , you will deliver technical training to customers; contractors, wholesalers, end users, OEM's and employees as it relates to Copeland Commercial and Residential Cold Chain Electronics components and systems used in the HVAC/R industry. The senior trainer must present a professional manner and develop good working relationships with subject matter experts and Product Managers within the organization. Coordination of relevant content from the experts is key to adding material to a course to ensure all learning objectives are met. The senior trainer must stay current with technology and the industry. Participation in industry events and HVACR online educational communities is an important part of the senior trainer's ability to stay current with industry trends and educational needs. The senior trainer provides coaching, guidance and feedback to junior training staff and serves as the lead customer contact point at training events.As a Technical Trainer / Senior Technical Trainer, you will:Deliver all curricula using instructor-led, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats.Conduct standard and custom classes per customer requirements.Follow good pedagogy practices for teaching adults.Coordinate the development of course material to cover learning objectives; adjust learning objectives accordingly.Evaluate training material for improvements.Continue self-study to understand all technologies that are part of the curricula.Participate in engineering and product planning sessions.Participate in industry related forums to ensure accuracy of technical information.Train and mentor training specialists.Required Education, Experience & Skills:Five (5) years of experience as an HVACR technician, wholesaler, educator or equivalent HVACR industry role.Ability to travel 60-70%Ability to present to groups and facilitate learning programs.Skilled in providing customer service.Ability to communicate effectively - verbally and in writing.Proficient in technology - Microsoft Suite of Products; PC's, Mobile Devices.Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.Work Authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:Degree in HVACR-related field.Seven (7) years of related experience.Ability to work well with a wide range of people and related diversity.Skilled in analyzing audience to present material clearly, concisely, and effectively.Proficient presentation skills and the ability to handle classes; small or large and all issues that may arise.Online and in-person presence in the HVACR educational community (i.e., YouTube channel/Website, video creation/posting, HVACR online forum participation, industry educational conferences).Our Commitment to Our PeopleAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
