Astranis is on a mission to bridge the digital divide by connecting the four billion people worldwide who currently lack internet access. Develop and design automated hardware and software solutions to test and validate electronics hardware.Design PCBA's to interface with flight hardware.Write software in object-oriented Python to control test equipment, custom hardware, and our satellites.Ensure we deliver high caliber products by implementing new integration and test processes that will raise our efficiency without compromising quality.Lead large, high-visibility test campaigns with multiple stakeholders across the company. This includes scheduling, work distribution, mitigating risks, and top-to-bottom execution.Work closely with the design team to provide feedback and insight through qualification and acceptance process.Contribute to large inter-org debugging efforts of system-level and unit-level issues.Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree.1+ years of experience.A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development.Exposure to turning high-level requirements into clear design/test objectives.Some experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).Experience with debugging systems and circuits with multiple layers of hardware and software integration.Don't meet them all? Experience in environmental testing such as vibration, shock, thermal, burn-in, and TVAC.Experience with Technical Project Management.Experience using Altium Designer.Experience using Python.Exposure to designing and building electrical harnesses and connectors.Experience automating tests, test equipment, or similar instrumentation.What we offer:

Base pay is a single component of Astranis's total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, high quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals.Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources.
