Growing together.Position Highlights:Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providersOur model is designed to provide the most efficient, comprehensive, and proven care techniques to treat the whole patient – physically, mentally, and socially – at each visit“Quality vs. Quantity Model” – Typically see 14 to 16 patients per dayPatient panel is predominately geriatrics with Medicare Advantage coverageBonus incentives are based on quality metricsWhat makes an Optum organization different?WellMed is a Medicare Advantage Plan that operates as a health system focused on Quality/Value Based OutcomesOur care model limits daily volume to allow our providers the time needed to provide quality care to their patientsWe offer clinical and leadership growth and stability second to noneProviders are supported to practice at the peak of their licenseWe are influencing change on a national scale while maintaining the culture and community of our local care organizationsCompensation/Benefits Highlights:Base Salary plus Annual Quality Incentive with a target of $50,000Optum Physician Partnership Plan20 days of PTO, 5 days of CME, and clinics are closed for 8 national holidays401k with match, Executive Savings Plan, and UHG Employee Stock Purchase ProgramComprehensive Benefits from Optum Partner ServicesRequired Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.SBoard certification or eligibility in Family or Internal MedicineActive, unrestricted medical license in Florida or the ability to obtain prior to employmentValid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employmentPreferred Qualifications:Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluencyA working understanding and support of a managed care environment
