Northwell Health
is seeking a dynamic Comprehensive Pediatric Ophthalmologist for employment at our Long Island offices. The candidate will be a member of the full-time faculty at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. The physician should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in ophthalmology and be board certified or board eligible. They should also have completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. The candidate should have excellent clinical and surgical abilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills. The faculty member will be expected to participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Department of Ophthalmology:
The Department of Ophthalmology brings together the resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education, and research. Our department consists of 44 full-time faculty, 16 Optometrists, and over 300 community-based comprehensive and specialty ophthalmologists.
