Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Internal Medicine has immediate openings for full-time faculty candidates to grow its Infectious Diseases Division. Qualified candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases.Infectious Diseases faculty members participate in hospital consultation, clinic, resident education, and student education. There is opportunity for areas of special interest, based on the background, experience, and interest of the applicant. Weekend and holiday call will be shared equally among faculty members. We welcome the application of Fellows in training and mature physicians.The Infectious Diseases Division is heavily involved in resident education, and some members are also heavily involved in medical student education. Teaching includes MS3 and MS4 students at bedside and MS1 and MS2 students in the classroom on topics such as Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. Faculty members are eligible for federal student loan forgiveness programs.Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $220,000 - $250,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans.
