Ochsner Health in New Orleans is seeking board certified/board eligible physicians to join our Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Children’s Hospital.Opportunity Details:Employed physician group that offers competitive fair market compensation plus benefits.

In-house pediatric intensivist and hospitalist attendings 24/7 to assist with streamlined pediatric admissions and patient care.

All facilities utilize Epic electronic health records integrating care across the system and facilitating seamless multi-hospital practice.

All specialties available for consultation and easy one-call transfer from our community emergency departments to our main campus.

Our comprehensive Pediatrics Program, including primary care pediatricians and pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists (Ochsner Children’s), represents over 230 physicians. The group is the region’s leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We offer a full range of pediatric complex specialty services including congenital heart surgery and cardiac transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, a comprehensive surgical sub-specialty group, and the region’s only comprehensive multidisciplinary developmental center.We recently announced the building of a new separate, comprehensive, dedicated Children’s Hospital on our main campus, with expected opening in 2027.We currently care for patients in an expanding 67-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 14-bed PICU, a 12-bed pediatric CV-ICU, and a 44-bed pediatric acute unit, with a dedicated pediatric emergency room, and full-time, region-wide in-house pediatric and neonatal transport teams.In addition to patient care, Ochsner Children’s Hospital has an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and is responsible for teaching pediatric residents from the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program as well as medical students from both Tulane and the University of Queensland.
