$10,000 Sign On Bonus available for Qualified Candidates!Our Family Medicine Clinic in North Fargo is a fun little environment. The clinic itself has newly been remodeled and the team of 7 providers and 8 nursing staff are very team oriented. The clinic provides primary care to patients of all ages but primarily sees the geriatric population and those seeking mental health care. This team does quite a few procedures on a daily basis.Hours for this position are typically 8:00 to 5:00. The earliest appointment time is 7:50 and the latest is 4:30. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.Job SummaryAnswers patient inquiries over the telephone, assessing the severity of the patient's symptoms and medical needs according to triage algorithms. Guides the patient to the appropriate level of care; schedules patient appointments over the phone with appropriate healthcare providers/facilities/physicians. Documents information provided to patients during triage in health record systems; records patients' health conditions for follow-up patient care. Maintains and develops triage protocols; ensures patients' healthcare information is updated on time. Educates patients based on calls that come in.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.One year of healthcare experience preferred.Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside. Within the first 30 days of employment, all requirements to obtain the license needed for the role are completed.
