The Department of Primary Care at Holyoke Medical Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our established team.Holyoke Medical Group is a physician group with the mission to provide medical services, including Primary Care, Family Medicine, Pediatric Care, and Women’s Services, to the residents of the Pioneer Valley. Our mission is to improve the health of all people in our community through expert and compassionate care, education, community partnerships, fostering innovation, and inspiring hope.Position Highlights:Obtains appropriate patient history, performs physical evaluation, orders appropriate diagnostic tests and follows up with interpretation, formulates assessment and initiates treatment plan with appropriate follow-up appointments.Reviews incoming reports (e.g., lab, x-ray, EKG), signs, dates, and follows up with patients in a timely manner.Ensures documentation is recorded in a complete, timely, and orderly manner, utilizing templates in the electronic medical record (Meditech).Shift:
Monday-Friday (8a-5p), Advanced Practice Provider and support staff onsite.On Call:
Projected 1:6 (Practice Only).Highly competitive compensation package (including sign-on, retention bonus, and relocation support) in addition to a robust benefit package.Up to
$100,000 cash or student loan repayment
with a commitment of 5 years.Qualifications:Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of medicine; completion of a residency program in internal medicine at a U.S. Hospital.Experience:
2+ Years of Primary Care Experience (preferred).License/Registration:
(Current or Eligible to apply for) Mass. Board of Registration in Medicine, DEA License, CDS License, and ACLS certification.Certification:
