The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. Our KYC Advisory team, in particular, is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of the Global KYC Program across all business lines.What You'll be Doing:
You will be required to integrate subject matter and industry expertise within this functional domain. You will appropriately assess risk, coordinate with key stakeholders, such as the Business (e.g. Product, Engineering, Design, etc), Operations, Legal, and other Compliance teams, as well as demonstrate consideration for OKX's reputation by driving compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.In this role you will:Assist the KYC Advisory Lead with the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of the Global KYC Program.Draft, maintain and advise on the Global KYC Standards and procedures, including supplements and addendums as necessary.Provide timely guidance to the key stakeholders, and act as a point of escalation for complex KYC issues.Partner with key stakeholders to continually evaluate, maintain, enhance, and implement critical KYC controls, systems and frameworks.Support the identification and assessment of process deficiencies, enhance reporting capabilities and provide recommendations for corrective actions while satisfying regulatory and audit commitments.Assist with special projects, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Conduct targeted KYC-related training as needed.Stay up-to-date on relevant global, regional and jurisdictional regulatory guidance, enforcement actions, and industry best practices.What We Look For in You:
Substantive experience in AML/KYC compliance within the financial services, FinTech or crypto industries.Demonstrable experience of managing teams, overseeing processes and leading AML/KYC related initiatives.Sound knowledge and understanding of various regional and jurisdictional AML/KYC regulations and requirements for the crypto industry (e.g., APAC, EU, LATAM, MENA, US, etc.).Excellent research, analytical and due diligence skills.Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to interact and lead discussions.Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks.Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge.Solid understanding and familiarity with the crypto industry.Experience working in a global and/or remote environment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.CAMS, CFE, or equivalent certification is a plus.OKX Statement:
The salary range for this position is $127,000 to $190,000. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
