OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead the Martin Luther King, Sr. Community Resources Collaborative towards achieving its mission and strategic goals. We are a non-profit agency focused on providing resources to families and residents in the Old Fourth Ward and downtown communities of Atlanta. Our programs include life skills education, income tax assistance, emergency safety-net support, and addressing health disparities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, operations management, and business development. This role requires a visionary leader who can effectively manage resources, drive process improvements, and foster relationships with stakeholders. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, ensuring operational excellence while promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration. This position works closely with the Chair of the Board of Directors.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction to the organization, aligning operations with the overall mission and vision.Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of resources and processes.Manage budget goals.Lead initiatives for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful execution of organizational projects.Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support organizational goals.Drive business development efforts by identifying funding opportunities to expand the organization's reach and impact within the community.Foster a positive organizational culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth among staff.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans that align with the organization's objectives.Represent the organization at public events, meetings, and conferences to promote its mission and build relationships.QualificationsBachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in Non-Profit Leadership.Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit or similar organization.Strong skills in process improvement methodologies and project management principles.Knowledge of social services.Experience in grant writing, award administration, and audit preparation.Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.Experience in business development strategies that drive growth and sustainability.Excellent operations management skills with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing teams successfully.Exceptional strategic planning skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Proficient in QuickBooks or other accounting software.Join us as we work towards making a meaningful impact in our community!Job Type:
