Principal Product Manager I, Signals & Streaming

Axon, Seattle, Washington, us, 98127

Your ImpactReal-Time Operations (RTO) is a key business line and strategic priority for Axon, focused on transforming public safety with products like Fusus and Axon Respond. Our goal is ambitious: to become the real-time platform for collaboration between communities and law enforcement, connecting first responders and businesses with tools that enhance response, improve safety, and support Axon’s mission to Protect Life.

Better information leads to better decisions, and our tools empower responders in critical moments where every second can mean lives. You will be directly contributing to Axon’s moonshot goal: to cut gun-related deaths between the police and the public by 50% in 10 years.

You will be at the core of our real-time offerings, delivering real-time information from hundreds of sources—cameras, drones, vehicles, alarm systems, GPS trackers, and more—to help first responders plan and respond more effectively. This includes Axon’s own devices (Axon Body, Axon Fleet, Axon Air, TASER, and more future products) as well as those from third-party partners. You will be responsible for every “dot” on the map, the live video feeds from those dots, and the infrastructure that powers critical decision-making—enabling alerts, video streams, collaboration, insights, camera activations, policy-based sharing between communities and public safety, and beyond. You will be responsible to work backwards from the end experience to build the right real-time pipeline and video streaming platform, challenging our existing experiences and architecture, all in pursuit of building the right solution for customers.

You will need to have a deep understanding of our end users—first responders, dispatchers, and their support teams—as well as the environments in which they operate. Working closely with product design and engineering, you’ll tackle problems from first principles to create and manage a roadmap that enables our users to perform their jobs more effectively and make a lasting impact in communities worldwide.
