This role involves developing strategies, managing a diverse portfolio of evaluation projects, and fostering strong partnerships with nonprofit and philanthropic clients. As the Senior Director of Success Measures Evaluation Services, you would have the opportunity to:Be a key part of the Success Measures leadership group where your experience and thought leadership will be valued in developing strategies to meet client needs and help advance the social enterprise consulting practice.Join a collaborative team dedicated to supporting mission-driven, equity-focused organizations address their evaluation needs and achieve their learning strategy goals.Draw on the principles and practices of participatory and equitable evaluation, to direct all aspects of a diverse portfolio of evaluation consulting and capacity-building technical assistance projects in close collaboration with clients, staff and consultants.Ensure that the team’s evaluation approaches have a keen focus on how to best communicate evaluation results in ways that are clear, accessible and useful for clients and their audiences – from funders to community residents and other program participants.Oversee a diverse portfolio of evaluation projects by managing resources such as staff and consultants, ensuring effective project implementation within budget and timelines. Collaborate with business development and finance teams to scope new evaluation opportunities and build capable project teams that align with client goals.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with nonprofit and philanthropic clients, understanding their evaluation needs and ensuring the right project teams are in place. Anticipate challenges, resolve issues, and creatively address both evaluation and project management aspects to meet client expectations.Direct and provide a range of evaluation consulting and technical assistance services grounded in equitable and participatory evaluation practices. This includes designing comprehensive capacity-building strategies for cohorts of nonprofits, conducting mixed-method evaluations for both single and multi-site place-based initiatives and effectively communicating findings to clients and their audiences in accessible ways including through best practices in data visualization.Bring a commitment to social and racial justice, along with a deep understanding of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Leverage expertise in affordable housing, community development, and health equity, while continuously expanding knowledge of other social sector areas.Supervisor:

1 - 2Fiscal Responsibilities:

Management of project budgets for consulting contracts and services. Individual project budgets up to $1 million and a combined portfolio of up to $2.5 million.Required Minimum Qualifications

12 years of relevant experience in evaluation work including similar work in a consultant capacity, nonprofit social enterprise or a foundation. Also 6 to 8 years of experience leading a team of 2 employees at minimum. The ideal candidate will have experience working within housing or community development and experience with social justice initiatives.Technology

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Facility with statistical and qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Stata, Qualtrics, NVIVO, ATLAS.ti); High level of proficiency with virtual meeting technology applications.Travel

Approximately 15 - 20%Physical/Sensory Demands
