SAIC is seeking PACAF Live Virtual Constructive Exercise Planner for an Air Force program. This is an onsite position based out of Hickam AFB (Honolulu, HI). SAIC is excited to be helping the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) in integrating Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) exercise elements to increase readiness in the INDOPACOM theater. PACAF exercises are increasingly utilizing virtual and constructive elements in its exercises. This requires increased planning capabilities to integrate all components for the exercises. We are seeking a senior, cleared Planner to lead this effort onsite at Hickam AFB in Hawaii to support PACAF A37 in exercise development and execution. As the LVC Exercise Planner, you will: Conduct planning and development of exercise OTTI and Command and Control (C2) architectures and networks. Facilitate scenario development for integration into PACAF-sponsored and supported Tier 1-4 training/exercise events. These functions include, but are not limited to, designing relevant scenarios, presentations, and briefings. Support document generation and mission materials in support of exercise scenarios. These include but are not limited to: Air Operations Directive (AOD), Airspace Control Plan (ACP), Air Tasking Order (ATO), Airspace Control Order (ACO), Area Air Defense Plan (AADP), communication plans, Special Instructions (SPINs), Orders of Battle (OOB), red air plans, and mission cards. Facilitate and coordinate Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for planning through after-action report. Support White / Blue / Red Force execution functions, as required, during execution of exercises and training events with live, virtual, and constructive models. These include but are not limited to: Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM), Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE), Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), and Future Force Experimentation Air Defense Simulation (FFEADS). Provide continuity technical training on M&S systems to government and contract personnel as requested. Solicit and document Desired Learning Objectives (DLO) and Training Objectives from PACAF/A37 (Exercise Plans), training audiences, and exercise. Track and advise the PACAF Exercise Branch on exercise programming so that the training audience has the opportunity to achieve those objectives during exercises. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's and nine (9) years experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree. Clearance: Must be US Citizen and possess an Active Secret; eligible Special Access Programs (SAP). Possess in-depth knowledge of USAF planning cycles and processes as well as the employment of US weapons systems in missions that include, but are not limited to, Air Interdiction (AI), Offensive Counter Air (OCA), Defensive Counter Air (DCA), Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance (SCAR), Electronic Warfare (EW), C2ISR, Dynamic Targeting (DT), Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Aerial Refueling, and Naval Surface Warfare. Familiarity with US Air Force training requirements, methodology, and procedures. Proficient using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. Desired: Clearance: Top Secret/SCI. Rated military aircrew with minimum of 200 hours of instructor/evaluator experience, career enlisted aviator, or Ground-Based Air Defense qualifications with operational experience within five years. Previous mission commander and graduate of a U.S. military weapons school. Familiarity with US Air Force policy and doctrine as well as experience with the planning and execution of joint, combined, allied, and other partner nation’s operations and exercises. Experience with operations in the INDOPACOM AOR.
