The candidate should understand system design and service-oriented architecture, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and lead cross-group teams across Amazon. They should be able to recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.Successful candidates will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmaps, using Agile and incremental delivery methods. They must have experience working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment, driving cross-group teams spread across multiple geographies and handling communication from technical developers to senior VPs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of technical product or program management experience7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
