About the roleAs a (Contract) Senior Visual Product Designer at Crunchyroll, you will provide Crunchyroll with a visual refresh to its app experience across mobile, web, and TV. This will help enhance our experiences and delight our anime fans.
This is a short-term, one-month contract.
You will work with a team of designers who collaborate to evolve the Crunchyroll experience. Your designs should show an understanding of the industry, our competitors, and especially empathy for our users. You will think through problems and use your design expertise to create solutions that provide our users with an outstanding user experience that is elegant, engaging, and functional.
In the role of (Contract) Senior Visual Product Designer, you will report to the Director, Product Design.

8+ years of professional visual design experience
Strong visual capabilities and a wide range of styles
Experience with brand and identity work
Experience with design programs like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
Demonstrate a user-centered approach and have empathy for the end-users
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Adept collaborator working with teams
Experience designing visual design language for UI
Anime fan, understanding of anime fandom, or similar fandom
Pluses:
Strong illustration capabilities
Experience designing UI for TV devices
Experience working in streaming or entertainment industry
Experience with prototyping

Our work encompasses the new Crunchyroll website, the mobile apps, and the TV experiences.
