This position will support Avangrid Renewables’ Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, monitor, and measure wind farm and wind turbine health and performanceSupport the director of Asset Management and O&M VP with preparing operational performance reportsProvide data-driven recommendations to optimize operational strategies and mitigate risksBuild and manage yearly production and availability budgetsSupport and enhance Diagnostic Tool (DOMINA G), which is used to notify users of deviations from expected turbine performanceInterface with global counterparts to benchmark and support performance analysis across Iberdrola’s global portfolio of offshore wind projectsSupport the advancement of operational modelling tools for new projects under different phases of developmentMonitor and validate contractual availability for wind farms in operationSupport the Contracts team in negotiating contractual availability terms for new projectsParticipate in innovative projects relating to the implementation and use of business intelligence toolsRequired QualificationsDegree level qualificationProficiency with Python and SQLExperience evaluating wind farm and wind turbine power performanceCapable of managing and interpreting large complex data sets related to wind operations (wind speed, power output, turbine events/alarms…)Strong technical acumen with ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and apply them effectivelyComfortable working with many stakeholders (Commercial Operations, Engineering, Contracts, IT) and effectively communicating technical workGood ability to manage own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, whilst producing high quality results in demanding timeframesIT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software.Flexible to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of countries throughout northern Europe and USA, particularly Germany, France, Spain, and England.Eligibility to work in USAPreferred QualificationsIn depth knowledge of wind farm control systemsExperience in operations analysis for large engineering projectsKnowledge of marine engineering and vesselsExperience working in a multinational organization#LI-VP1 OfficeInformación MovilidadTenga en cuenta que cualquier solicitante que no sea ciudadano del país de la vacante estará sujeto al cumplimiento de los requisitos de inmigración aplicables para trabajar legalmente en ese país.Las prácticas y políticas de empleo de AVANGRID están orientadas a la contratación de una plantilla diversa y al mantenimiento de una cultura inclusiva.
