This unique company remains one of the few that develops and manufactures each of its products in a state-of-the-art, 100% solar-powered eco-friendly, award-winning facility.POSITION SUMMARYAs the Chief Operations Officer (COO), you’ll be responsible for providing the leadership and management necessary to ensure that the company has proper operational controls, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure operating efficiency. The COO will work closely with other members of the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at driving operational excellence, optimizing efficiency, and achieving business objectives.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals.Provide leadership and direction to the operations and support teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity and strong interpersonal skills, and put a strong emphasis on responsibility and accountability.Upholds, safeguards, and promotes the organization's values and philosophies relating particularly to ethics, integrity, and corporate responsibility.Accountable for driving his/her assigned departments to achieve and surpass all business goals and objectives.Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all operational processes internal and external for assigned groups. Provides timely, accurate, and complete reports to the CFO and CEO on the operating condition of the company.Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the operations team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to meet customer demand and minimize costs.Motivate and lead a high-performing team; partner with Human Resources to advocate and retain team members not currently, and provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the development of direct reports.Collaborate with Marketing to support marketing strategies and goals.Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and resilience.Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.WHAT YOU BRINGA bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline is required.Minimum 10-15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the manufacturing industry; experience be from one of the following industries highly preferred: Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, or Food Manufacturing.Demonstrated expertise in operations management, including Planning, Supply Chain, IT and Business Applications, Facilities, Engineering, Logistics and Distribution, and Customer Service.Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and initiatives.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build collaborative relationships, and drive organizational change.Strong business acumen and financial literacy.Must have excellent verbal and communication skills and be able to create effective, concise, written reporting.ERP software experience.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.Core Competencies should include but are not limited to:Strategic ThinkerResults DrivenProblem SolverDecision MakerDetailed OrientedWHAT WE OFFERExcellent Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account with employer contributionPaid Time Off, Holiday Pay401K plan with generous employer match100% Company Life and Short-Term Disability CoverageHealth & Wellness ProgramHealthy Vitamin Discount programEmployee Referral ProgramLive and work in one of the most exciting and diverse communities in Nevada.
