AWS is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide expert guidance to our Financial Services customers. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping Financial Services organizations optimize their adoption and leverage of AWS technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Financial Services industry, comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services applications and infrastructure, and a strong understanding of how cloud services can empower customers to modernize their applications, migrate their data centers to AWS, and accelerate the development of innovative industry solutions. As the Solutions Architect, you will leverage your domain expertise to architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions that address the unique needs of Financial Services organizations.
You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and compliance constraints, and then recommend the optimal AWS services and best practices to meet their goals. Key Job Responsibilities
Develop deep, consultative relationships with Financial Services customers to understand their unique business challenges, technical requirements, and compliance needs.Provide expert guidance on how to optimally adopt and leverage the full potential of AWS services to modernize applications, migrate workloads to the cloud, and accelerate the development of innovative industry solutions.Architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions tailored to the Financial Services sector.Collaborate cross-functionally with customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications.Enable customers to achieve their business objectives by fully leveraging the capabilities of the AWS services and industry best practices.Stay abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to ensure customers benefit from your knowledge.Share knowledge and insights to help customers navigate the evolving cloud landscape and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative AWS offerings for the Financial Services industry.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.Experience working with end user or developer communities.Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
