is a national cultural landmark and a hub for the performing arts. Our store and concession outlets provide visitors with unique merchandise, refreshments, and keepsakes that enhance their experience and celebrate the Center’s commitment to the arts.What You’ll Do:Retail and Concession Management:
Oversee daily operations of the retail store and concession stands, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and efficient guest experience.Sales Optimization:
Develop strategies to drive sales across both retail and concession areas, achieving financial targets. Ensure the right products are in stock and coordinate with the Store Support Center (corporate) on inventory needs.Financial Management:
Manage payroll and controllable expenses within established guidelines to meet financial objectives.Build Partnerships:
Foster strong relationships with the Kennedy Center’s management and partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and long-term success.Strategic Planning:
Work closely with the VP of Store Quality to prioritize and execute both short-term and long-term business objectives for retail and concessions.Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, diverse team across retail and concessions, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages growth and excellence.Guest Service Excellence:
Ensure that every guest receives outstanding service in the store and at concessions, contributing to a memorable Kennedy Center experience.What We’re Looking For:Leadership Experience:
5+ years in retail and/or food and beverage management with a strong track record of success.Sales and Merchandising Savvy:
Background in retail sales, merchandising, and concession operations.Dynamic Leadership:
Skilled in hiring, training, and motivating a team to deliver their best.Guest Service Expert:
Committed to delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.Flexible Schedule:
Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends to meet the needs of the Kennedy Center’s events.Positive Energy:
