Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

Microsoft Cloud Planning serves as the core planning function within CSCP, concentrating on forecasting, demand planning, and hardware planning for all Microsoft Cloud services and associated hardware. As a Director - Integrated Business Planning, you will be responsible for driving alignment with executive functional stakeholders across CSCP, Engineering Groups, and Finance.

Responsibilities

As a Director, Integrated Business Planning, you will be responsible for the following:

Manage the IBP/ S&OP monthly process to deliver business results by driving strategic direction across Business Priorities, Financial Goals, and Operations.

Lead the Executive IBP monthly alignment with cross functional senior management (CVP level).

Ensure alignment and synergy across New Product Development, Finance, Demand, Capacity Planning, Supply.

Drive alignment between the Capacity Plan and CapEx/Financial Processes, identify and recommend tradeoff decisions to align budget.

Develop, implement, monitor, and report on cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective execution, integration, and performance of IBP process.

Streamline the monthly rhythm of business and drive cross functional change management to enable a best-in-class IBP process.

Continuously improve the monthly IBP cycle, including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions, reduction of cycle-time, robust alignment with financial budgets and projections.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management with a Supply Chain or Operations field

Or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the High-Tech industry and Cloud/Hyperscale supply chain preferred

Demonstrated written/verbal communication skills, and executive presence

Demonstrated cross functional leadership and influencing skills, resulting in tangible business decisions and outcomes.

Demonstrated success in both Demand Planning and Supply Planning roles

Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex cross-functional problems into clear solutions/recommendations

Proficient analytical skills and capable of using models for optimization purposes

Proficient project management/process improvement skills

APICS certification is preferred. Have understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.

Integrated Business Planning IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
