If you're interested in the job and think you would provide the value we need, we encourage you to apply!WHAT WE NEEDThe Vice President of Global Services reports to the SVP of Shared Development Studios and owns the co-development activities at 2K. This includes evolving the services that our tech and creative studios provide. The ideal candidate will drive the strategic direction, alignment, development, and evolution of the group. The group consists of Audio, Art, Engineering, Mo-Cap, and User Research co-development services, which are used by multiple creative studios.RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with our game studios to provide proactive co-development resources that will enhance their development teams.Drive a collaborative co-development culture and promote Best-In-Class methodologies and services to our partners.Lead and champion our department heads in support of career growth, team mentorship, and a clear north star.Participate in project planning, early stage estimation, and breakdown of project needs.Collaborate with studio leadership to collect and implement future opportunities for SDLC improvement.Responsible for establishing what excellent looks like, and help the teams realize what extraordinary is.Lead the effort to research new technologies to continually improve our service and technology offerings.Drive the quarterly business reviews with the department heads to demonstrate the impact the team is having on speeding up development velocity.REQUIREMENTS10+ years previous work experience as a co-development professional. Engineering experience a plus.5+ years in a leadership role as a people-focused mentor and lead.Proficiency in leading multi-discipline development teams.Experience incorporating new tools into distributed teams and technology stacks.Passionate about learning new technologies, tools, or platform technologies.Ability to offer creative/technical expertise and mentoring to developers on varied projects.The ability to influence Developer culture and aim to keep communication channels as transparent as possible.Experience creating impactful processes to identify and develop talent within the Global Services department.Successful track record of establishing and leading multi-location development operations.A Development partner that is able to build trust between our development teams and the shared services team.A desire to balance the business needs with the creative needs of our products and deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
