Job Overview:

Lead innovation in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) and Bioanalysis at Pharmaron, where your expertise will drive cutting-edge research and shape the future of biopharmaceutical development. As the Director of DMPK and Bioanalysis, you will drive the strategic direction and execution of in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK) studies, associated bioanalysis, and reporting/interpretation of PK parameters. This leadership role focuses on expanding Pharmaron's capabilities in DMPK and bioanalysis, enhancing services, and acting as a key scientific liaison during high-impact sales engagements.

Additional tasks:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for PK and bioanalytical studies within Pharmaron US Lab Services.

Collaborate with Business Development and DMPK leadership to secure and close new business opportunities, driving revenue growth in this service category.

Strengthen and expand PK and bioanalytical capabilities to grow our client base and enhance service offerings.

Develop and implement departmental strategies to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and maintain cutting-edge practices.

Mentor and develop scientific staff, fostering a culture of high performance and quality.

Oversee timelines, scientific reviews, and reporting to ensure high-quality study design and timely delivery of results.

Ensure departmental compliance with applicable regulations and corporate policies, including harmonizing practices across the team.

Partner with Human Resources to develop and approve job descriptions and communicate roles and responsibilities to employees.

Manage departmental budget, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth strategies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

PhD in pharmacokinetics, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline (preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of relevant laboratory experience in a contract research organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical environment.

At least 3 years of management experience, including staff development and financial responsibility.

Expertise in study design, conduct, and interpretation of in vivo PK studies.

Proficiency in bioanalysis across diverse molecule types, including experience with LCMS platforms.

Expertise with noncompartmental analysis (Phoenix WinNonlin).

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.
