Era Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to become the newest members of our Dining Services team located in our University House Issaquah Community in Issaquah, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00am - 06:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities:
This position is supervises dining room staff and oversees all aspects of daily operations of the Dining Room to ensure the highest quality of service to residents and their guests. The Dining Services Director develops staff schedules, insuring adequate staffing for all shifts, with consideration of budget and quality of service for all meals and special events.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of food service management
Possess basic technical knowledge and dining room administrative knowledge
Ability to plan, train, direct, and supervise others
Ability to use good interpersonal skills when interacting with Residents, family members, visitors and co-workers
Ability to use Word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail and the Internet
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
Education and Experience:
Must have 2-5 years of experience in restaurant or retirement food service
Supervisory skills required
Food handlers permit, CPR and First Aid certification, and Alcohol Serving Certification
