Location: Newark, New JerseyDirector, Strategic Initiatives (The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ): Support the development, prioritization, and implementation of a range of strategies and initiatives to drive profitable growth across an assigned business. Lead workstreams in core strategy projects as well as cross-functional strategic projects (scoping, sizing, problem solving). Develop analyses and synthesizing insights (on markets, consumers, and competitors) as inputs to drive near-term and longer-term business strategy. Assess strategic partnerships and organic/inorganic growth opportunities. Work directly with strategy and other teams across U.S. businesses and functional partners on key strategic initiatives.Telecommuting:
Permitted up to 3 days a week.Employment Type:
Full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:Using Microsoft Excel to create financial models, perform quantitative analysis of sales and other data and identify insights from large data sets;Using Microsoft PowerPoint to create logical storyboards, create executive-level presentations and to visualize key insights from data;Tableau;Competitive Research Tools, including CB Insights and Alpha Sense;Data visualization tool: Think Cell.Travel Requirements:
