Global Product Development Strategy & Operations
team that are strategic enablers and change agents driving continuous improvement across our technology teams. We're seeking an experienced architect focused on reducing risk and improving application resiliency and reliability of ADP’s products. And you will need to have private/public Cloud experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic vision, hands-on experience in building highly scalable and performant systems, and out of the box thinking and technical solutioning to large and tough problems.You will work alongside the global security organization, architects from application development and infrastructure teams, product owners and business partners. You’ll proactively look for resiliency opportunities, review security and resiliency incidents, propose potential solutions, and analyze third party tools that could be incorporated into ADP’s ecosystem.To thrive in this role, you have experience in architecture, design, and building large-scale distributed services-oriented systems. You'll need to have a solid understanding of secure software development lifecycle and DevSecOps principles, and a solid understanding of technologies, including APIs, distributed systems design including cloud environments like AWS and Azure. You strive to learn new security frameworks and new technologies and find ways to incorporate what you learn into your consulting activities. This role requires you to have clear, compelling, and influential communication skills to succeed. You must be adept at teaching, leading, and influencing. There is no typical day. You could be working on anything from application security, risk and resiliency initiatives, disaster recovery scenarios, or participating in Cloud migration strategies and operations.Business Security Incidents:
You will work with a team focused on reviewing and reducing incidents. You’ll look for design patterns and stage gates in the product lifecycle to avoid the possibilities of human errors that may result in incidents. Then, you’ll look for opportunities to prevent security incidents by researching third party DLP tools and GenAI opportunities.Cloud Architecture Expertise:
You’ll be a technical program leader to engage and represent Resiliency team and work with other architects to develop and implement cloud-based infrastructure and services that are secure, scalable, and resilient. You’ll be helping teams to assess on-premises infrastructure and applications to decide on the most appropriate cloud services, ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements.Risk and Resiliency:
You’ll lead self-assessment reviews of all products that include proactive risk identification and execute red/purple resiliency scenarios. You will help to define and prepare ADP for multiple DR scenarios. And you’ll proactively look for resiliency opportunities and work back with development teams to solution them.You’re always learning and operating with a "figure it out" mentality.You’re comfortable working with technology that has never been used before. Inevitable challenges will arise, and we'll rely on you to look for a solution.Experience:
You have 12+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:You'll have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.Experience in application security architecture and development in enterprise class organizations across multiple languages and platforms, including APIs.Expertise in secure software development life cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps.Experience in securing cloud environment and containers.Possess significant knowledge of application security, web application design, information security, databases, common coding practices.Ability to perform risk and resiliency assessments.Experience with designing, building and testing highly resilient, performing and recoverable applications.Demonstrate well-developed organizational, written communication, and analytical skills.YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Team collaboration:
