Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.SciTec has an immediate opening for a Technical Infrastructure Lead to lead, build, and mentor the team responsible for global configuration management and task execution across multiple locations and compliance environments.Responsibilities:The Technical Infrastructure Lead will lead team supporting various infrastructure and compute requirements across multiple locations. This person will have expertise in building and maintaining infrastructure platforms based on VMWare and Linux stack and will embody eagerness to create and own processes for enhancing the team and streamlining processes.Design and deploy functional networks and private cloud platforms (LAN,WAN, on prem compute) as a member of product teams and corporate infrastructure teams supporting custom applications and DevOps processesResolve issues escalated by lower service desk tiers by troubleshooting deployed, cloud, and local infrastructureAutomate tasks and monitor their effectivenessMentor team members on technical issuesCreate, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication and disaster recovery)Communicate with users to design and field optimal solutionsDesign and implement solutions to deliver superior network performance, capacity and scalabilityMaintain complete technical documentationOther duties as assigned5+ years actively developing and/or managing virtual technologies including VMWare, Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker3+ years of management experience and 10+ years of total professional experienceDemonstrable foundation in microservices, software design for cloudExperience leading distributed multi-disciplined teams across different time zonesExperience leading teams for cloud-native architectures (Microservices SOA, security, compliance, etc.) at scaleExperience managing teams of 8-12 people with measurable team and product successTechnical leadership and management experience in IT infrastructure engineering and DevOps environmentsExcellent organizational and mentoring skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceDetail orientedGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidates meeting the following criteria will be preferredAn active DoD security clearanceSecurity+ CertificationLinux, VMWare, Openshift, Kubernetes Certifications*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employmentColorado Residents: In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information such as age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation.
