Position:

Senior Android Engineer In your role as Senior Android Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will: Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams. Design mobile architecture that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures. Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams. Coordinate with product development teams to execute rollout/adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns. Measurably improve code normalization across one or more critical code concerns throughout the codebase. Skills/Requirements Required Qualifications You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software design and development for the Android platform. You are proficient in Kotlin, Java, C/C++, and are familiar with Android's ecosystem. You have a proven track record with popular frameworks (RxJava, Dagger) that enhance Android app development. You have a strong understanding of MVVM and MVI architecture patterns. Availability to work outside of standard business hours as needed to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones. Ability to travel up to 10% of time both domestically and internationally if needed. Preferred Qualifications Driving mobile UI/UX design and development, ensuring our products are both beautiful and functional. You thrive in solving complex engineering tasks independently and are adept at BLE technology. Broad interest spanning from early prototyping to shipping finished features. Contributed significantly to growing and shaping backend systems, APIs, and embedded systems. You’re a quality advocate, ensuring high standards in code, processes, and culture. Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely. Compensation:

The approved base salary range for this position is $114,500 - $145,450. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $148,850 - $190,000 depending on location.
