Sponsorship is not eligible for this roleAs part of Walmart's Social Commerce team, you will be building highly scalable and reliable web services and applications which will drive the next generation of affiliates and social commerce experiences. You’ll independently handle high impact, critical software/systems monitoring issues, troubleshoot business and production issues. Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.What you'll do:Develop highly scalable services and solve complex software systems problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technologyGain exposure to various emerging technologies used in Marketing and E-commerce platforms.Drive projects of high visibility across the organization.Participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirement); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with cross functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery.What you'll bring:1+ years of experience building scalable ecommerce applicationsStrong Experience with ReactJS/Redux and web development experience required.Strong experience interfacing with Web Services platformsProficient in RESTful Services, Java, Scala, Spring Boot/Play Framework, RDBMS, NoSql, PythonProficient in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, JSONProficient in Next.js, NodeJS, GraphQLProficient in development of scalable cloud native microservicesProficient with Designing and building APIsProficient with event driven architectureExperience with Cloud Technologies like Azure and GCPAbout Walmart Global Tech:
