As Director Architecture you will be leading test automation initiatives, developing automated test strategies, scalable automation solutions, frameworks, tools, and integration with DevOps processes. This role involves assessing current testing processes, identifying areas for improvement, staying up to date on emerging technologies, and continually enhancing the test automation frameworks and processes. The Expertise and Skills You Bring 10+ years of industry experience in architecture and test automation of enterprise solutions for multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.

Extensive experience designing solution architectures and deploying applications in cloud with proven understanding of web, API, SQL. AWS or Azure solution architect certificate is preferred.

Hands on quality engineering experience implementing and performing end to end test solutions that span from unit test to functional, regression, performance, chaos testing and experience using test frameworks (e.g., cypress, cucumber, selenium, Jmeter, chaos buffet, data compare).

Design and Develop Automation Frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and flexible enough to support a wide range of testing needs, including functional, performance, regression, and security testing.

Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the quality engineering team on test automation practices, code quality standards, tools, and technologies.

Assesses and refines current test architectures and frameworks to improve the reusability, scalability, and maintainability of test frameworks.

Good experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.

Establishes and maintains reporting mechanisms and metrics for test automation effectiveness, efficiency, and quality, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become critical.

In close partnership with business and IT partners, you will provide technical leadership and vision, authoring multi-year architecture roadmaps, and actively promoting opportunities to optimize, consolidate, reuse, and simplify. You will author impactful Quality Assurance architecture solutions that achieve business goals, align with FFIO technology strategy, and promote standard methodologies in design and architecture.
