Process Improvement Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to support the Cyber & Enterprise Operation Division and Enterprise Management Branch’s Service Management Office (SMO) by providing process improvement Subject Matter Expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Provide strategic planning, critical thinking, thought leadership and visionary insight, and ITIL expertise coupled with practical technical knowledge and understanding. Ability to anticipate, identify solutions, and reprioritize quickly to meet customer’s high expectations. Outgoing team player with adaptable communication styles to effectively advocate SMO Service transition to broad audiences across the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Capacity to understand big picture and deep dive into technical and process details, as required.Responsibilities:Serve as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the SMO.Provide oversight and strategic direction in the development of building Service Central presentations and other deliverables for DIA executives.Provide strategic communications support and advice in areas that will enable engagement, practices, and processes by which current and future workforce capabilities can be assessed.Support strategic efforts to develop and execute stakeholder engagement and change & communication strategies to support streamlined centralized communications and provide quality assurance.Define problems and analyze and develop plans and requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex to complex systems.Prepare analysis, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems specifications.Support collaboration, coordination, editing documents and scheduling of meetings.Knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes to include Knowledge, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, Problem, Incident, Change Management, Service Asset and Configuration Management.Capture current DIA processes and workflows.Revise documentation to reflect the integration of Service Central components.Complete Executive Process Briefs for each module/process area.Maintain an integrated process map of DIA Business Services.Advise the government regarding process improvement strategies.Qualifications:Must have an active/current TS/SCI and ability to pass CI Poly.At least 10 or more years of specialized experience in the information technology field. Specific industry experience in information technology with various aspects of the software development lifecycle to include agile techniques, best practices, and standards.Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or experience.Prior experience with Service Management and Delivery with solid knowledge and understanding of IT Operations.Experience with instrumentation of ITSM processes in IT Service Management software suites (i.e. Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.).Ability to work comfortably with mid- and senior-level civilian/military personnel.Ability to work independently, demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and support tasks as assigned by Service Operations Division Chief.Detail-oriented, strong analysis and organizational skills, forward-thinking skills to anticipate and proactively provide recommendations to customer and team.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Strong public speaking skills required. Ability to create original documentation.Travel Requirements:Travel may be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) and other organizational locations CONUS and OCONUS on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.Level of Responsibility:Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.Reporting Chain:This position reports directly to Axiologic Solutions’ assigned Task Order Lead.Level of Supervision Required:The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment, resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others, and interprets policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.
