The Information Technology Vendor Management Specialist II supports all procurement activities across the Information Technology (IT) department. This role involves collaborating with various departments and vendors to create, manage, and review contract items, as well as managing IT-related contracts through L.A. Care's contracts process, including Contract Requests, Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Requisitions, Orders, Non-disclosure Agreements, and other necessary items.

Duties:

Participates in all aspects of IT contract development, approval, implementation, and administration.

Coordinates, tracks, and escalates IT-related contracts through the contracts process.

Works closely with Finance, vendors, and L.A. Care management to ensure appropriate invoicing and payment compliance.

Conducts research and analysis on Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.

Reviews and certifies price quotations and facilitates legal contract review when necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education RequiredAssociate's Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.

Education PreferredBachelor's Degree

ExperienceRequired:

A minimum of 4 years of experience with general Information Technology functions.

Preferred:

Experience in contract origination, management, invoice verification, and payment.

SkillsRequired:

Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and tracking.

Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse groups.

Ability to organize contract work efficiently.

Ability to process invoices to meet deadlines and objectives.

Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred:

Proficient in Excel, including PivotTables.
