The Senior Director II, Customer Strategic Insights is part of the Coca-Cola North America Business Unit, Foodservice & On-Premise (FSOP) Organization. This role is responsible for leading a world-class organization that provides agile thought leadership, strategic utilization of leading-edge analytics resources, and forward-looking insights acumen that drives growth, while elevating Coca-Cola’s Foodservice and On-Premise industry leadership.
Position Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing team to define and steward industry, customer/consumer and competitive insights that accelerate revenue and volume growth and enable success for the future (tied to our 2035 vision). This role will actively touch current and future customer relationships for The Coca-Cola Company, grounded in consumer insights, by providing thought leadership, strategic storytelling and unlocking new opportunities through insights innovations, best practices and partnerships. Specific responsibilities include:
Sets strategy, prioritizes resources and deploys talent to ensure development of best-in-class and ground-breaking insights that shape business direction.
Provide people leadership that drives engagement and ensures success of team of six seasoned FSOP Insights Directors. Provide team with vision, coaching, development and definition on how work is deployed with key stakeholders.
Partner across FSOP Sales, Marketing, Business Planning, Industry and CVG (Customer Value & Growth) leadership teams to define top opportunities to address through a robust analytics and testing agenda.
Continuously navigate and survey the competitive environment to ensure keen awareness of marketplace opportunities and risks. Leverage external marketplace intelligence to inform business planning, enhance customer conversations, and set proactive direction to capture opportunities.
Collaborate across the Coca-Cola global network to ensure optimal use of resources, knowledge sharing, extraction of applicable learning, and expansion of the insights capabilities of the FSOP organization.
Sets strategic guidance on critical insights and storytelling required to win business renewals and customers (Code 5/10s) that drive growth for the Coca-Cola system.
Identifies and deploys latest technologies, partnerships and innovative approaches to ensure fast-paced and agile insights development.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Strategic Thinking and Strategy Development:
Define and set the agenda for critical insights and marketplace intelligence needs of the organization.
Partner in the development of annual business plan; drive FSOP strategy and opportunities; ensure plan has a relevant FSOP strategy to win in the marketplace.
Drive awareness of, and connectivity to, consumer and marketplace trends to enable thought leadership against the Coca-Cola Value Bundle.
Relationship Management:
Act as a network partner to ensure connectivity with other insights organizations, leading the way for knowledge sharing and application of growth-driving intelligence for FSOP customer partners.
Build strong team-oriented relationships with other key internal business units and/or global partners that result in greater opportunities for the FSOP business.
People Leadership & Development:
Recruit and retain a high-performance team, and serve as an advocate for future career opportunities and personal growth/development.
Set the agenda for training and capability building of the organization to enable deeper thought leadership in our customer relationships.
Education:
Minimum Required Bachelor’s Degree; Preferred: MBA or other graduate degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
10+ Years in CPG Industry
Senior level experience within the consumer goods/beverages industry
Innovative and collaborative mindset, comfortable with disruption and able to pivot with business changes
People leadership/management – specifically, experience leading leaders of others
Customer experience in the Foodservice or CPG industry or adjacent businesses (i.e., digital, supplier, bottler, etc.)
Demonstrated success in leading geographically dispersed team
Experience across multiple disciplines beyond FSOP management (Human Insights, Revenue Growth Management, etc.)
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES DESIRED

Pay Range:$224,100 - $257,600Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
