Business Development Director
to drive that growth.Position Overview :The
Business Development Director
will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the energy and industrial sectors, cultivating strong relationships with clients, and working closely with our recruitment team to deliver tailored staffing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, particularly within recruitment, energy, or related industries. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base while maintaining the company’s commitment to a people-first culture.Key Responsibilities :Client Acquisition : Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the oil, gas, chemicals, renewables, and industrial sectors.Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers in target companies.Strategic Partnerships : Develop partnerships with industry organizations, attending key events and networking opportunities to build brand visibility.Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends and potential clients, creating strategies to penetrate new markets.Sales Pipeline Management : Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring a consistent and robust pipeline of business.Collaboration : Work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to ensure that client needs are met with the right talent solutions.Revenue Growth : Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue and market share.Reporting : Regularly report on business development activities and sales progress to leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.Brand Representation : Act as an ambassador for Ellaway Blues Consulting, upholding our values of people-first culture in every client interaction.Key Qualifications :5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations, ideally within the recruitment, energy, or industrial sectors.Proven success in generating new business and growing existing accounts.Strong knowledge of the oil, gas, chemicals, or renewables industries.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.Experience with CRM software and sales pipeline management.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications :Experience in recruitment or staffing for technical industries.Existing network within the energy or industrial sectors.Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.What We Offer :Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Remote working flexibility.Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company with a people-first approach.A supportive and collaborative team culture.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.How to Apply :If you're passionate about driving business growth and thrive in a dynamic, people-first environment, we’d love to hear from you.
