Overview:
The Democratic National Committee is seeking a Regional Analytics Director. Regional Analytics Directors are highly motivated, passionate, and talented, and will support our work within the states and optimize our voter outreach efforts in support of the Harris Campaign and other Democrats. They will support targeting, reporting, tracking, and other state-specific data needs.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
Work with in-state Coordinated Data and Analytics Directors to:
Support voter contact programs and ensure that voter contact and volunteer target universes support national campaign priorities.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with in-state staff and stakeholders.
Coach in-state data staff on best practices in targeting, reporting, and other campaign strategies.
Work with national and regional stakeholders to:
Ensure that programs are comprehensive, effective, and measurable and are able to be actualized with the resources available.
Work with a team that executes projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and within timelines.
Serve as a point of contact for states without Coordinated Data Directors.
Support the training and onboarding of new state data staff.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
At least 2 previous cycles of campaign experience as a member of an Analytics team, or equivalent political experience in a technical role.
A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work with others to implement creative solutions to unique problems.
Experience with managing and coaching staff.
Experience using VAN | Votebuilder at an administrative level.
A technical skill set that includes proficiency in a variety of programming languages/software such as (but not limited to) MS Excel, Google Suite, SQL, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Javascript, Python, R, and QGIS.
A track record of prioritizing projects with the ability to be both self-directed and to delegate tasks to others.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
