is responsible for the successful operation of the Managed Care function of the organization. The Executive Director serves as the relationship manager with insurance companies, governmental payors, and community business partners. This individual assures the timely and efficient negotiation, implementation, and adjudication of payor contracts in a manner that brings value to both Grady, our providers, and the payor. The Executive Director stays abreast of government and industry trends to assure Grady is positioned to remain successful and competitive in both the private and government payor sectors.The Executive Director is also responsible for strategic input and successful tactical integration with Payor and State and Federal Government partners associated with Medicare and Medicaid waivers. The Executive Director is also responsible for leadership oversight of Grady provider enrollment with contracted payors as well as coordination of provider enrollment with our education partners.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is required.Master's Degree in Business or related field is preferred.Eight (8) or more years of job-related experience in managed care, payor relations, or healthcare insurance is required.Effective relationship skills to maintain relationships and trust with executives, staff, and physicians are required.EOE-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
