DescriptionGeneral Information:We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Head of Product Management to lead our product strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of driving product innovation, market success, and cross-functional leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global markets, customer needs, and emerging technologies.Your Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and business goals.Product Innovation:
Drive the innovation pipeline, identifying new product opportunities and ensuring the successful launch of products that meet market demands.Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and positioning.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.Customer Focus:
Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions are driven by customer needs and feedback.Financial Management:
Oversee product budgets, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global product management team.Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and manage risks associated with product development and launch.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Background:Minimum of 20 years of experience in product management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience managing products in global markets, with an understanding of regional differences and market dynamics.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Solid understanding of technology trends and their impact on product development.Deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Industrial sectors including Power Generation, Utilities, Oil & Gas or other applicable industries.Proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration.Familiarity with agile development methodologies.Lead the creation of a commercial software product or business.Previous P&L responsibilities for a software business.Experience with developing and deploying AI/ML technologies in a SaaS solution.
