Overview
Working closely with the end Customer, vendors, and project personnel, the Senior ADMS Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of a new Advanced Distribution Management System within our Client’s territory. You will have responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project lifecycle including assembling and managing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of the project. In addition, you must exercise judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. This role requires 20% or less travel. The Sr. ADMS Project Manager will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain. The Sr. ADMS Project Manager should have in-depth knowledge with any of the major SCADA systems including: ABB, GE, Siemens, OSII, is a must.
Responsibilities
Deliver this project to completion. You own the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project. You will manage multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions. The entire project team will report to you, and you will be ultimately responsible for assigning work, monitoring, and measuring the team’s outputs, and requesting the replacement of resources that are not performing to required levels. You will be TRC’s representative, ensuring that the Client and TRC's interests are well aligned for the success of the project. You will have the responsibility for managing the TRC resources assigned to you, and you will be responsible for conflict management, approving timesheets, vacations, and any other HR task related to the TRC resources on the team. You will act as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives on time and on budget. You will develop the workflow plans to manage the project from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production and client migration. You will plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step. You will prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan. You will report on project status and analyze progress relative to project milestones. You will maintain forecasts to assure that schedule compliance and desired results are achieved. You will utilize project management methodologies and practices such as task and quality management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain. Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment. The successful candidate will be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge. Excellent organizational, decision making and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C-Level to multiple technical teams. Ability to self-direct and work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent team building and motivational skills. Excellent budgeting and financial skills. Proficiency with MS-Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Must have strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. Preferred Skills and Experience: Previous experience implementing large SCADA programs. PMP Certification.

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
