Consulting Associate,
Environmental,
Health & Safety
(Entry Level) to join our growing Management Systems and Compliance technical team in
Houston or Austin, TX . In this role, you will provide technical assistance on EHS compliance projects, management systems, auditing, and compliance assurance programs for clients locally, nationally, and internationally. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging EHS management projects for large Oil & Gas, Chemical, Technology, and Power clients.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance projects, management system development and implementation, compliance assurance, and auditing.Develop procedures, plans, permit applications, and reports.Assess regulatory compliance across various programs and environmental media.Perform compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Provide on-site EHS compliance support at client facilities.Design and implement management systems and programs for clients.Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively deliver projects.Effectively steward and build client relationships leading to repeat business.Build strong collaborative relationships with other ERM employees.REQUIREMENTS:BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical or environmental), environmental science, or related discipline. MS preferred. Or the equivalency of 8+ years related experience in lieu of education.0 to 3 years of consulting experience in industrial environments or internship equivalent.Professional registrations/certifications (EIT, ASP) preferred.Working knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations.Experience in corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
