Office hybrid in Mountain View, CAWe are looking for a dedicated and driven DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and security. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining various AWS solutions, handling search clusters, and ensuring the security and performance of our infrastructure.Your Impact:As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions and scripts to set up and monitor the AWS stack. You will build and deploy CI/CD pipelines for Dev, Staging, and Prod deployments.Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining CDK scripts for various AWS infrastructure components (i.e. Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SES etc). You will build infrastructure and set up performance test environments to ensure efficient system performance. Security is a critical aspect of this role, where you will own the SSM and tunneling infrastructure, perform monthly patching of AWS EC2 instances, and secure Jenkins and log servers. You will also run the observability stack and logging infrastructure. Lastly, you will address application tickets when the backlog increases, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Required Skills:A related technical degree required5+ years of work experience in a DevOps or similar roleFluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or BashIaC experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormationExperience with CI/CD using JenkinsExperience with building and deploying applications and services using containers and orchestration services like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.Solid understanding of logging frameworks and APM toolsUnderstanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTPStrong sense of security and ability to build and deploy secure cloud networksKnowledge of OO programming and concepts (Java)If you are passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and security, and have a proven track record in DevOps, we would love to hear from you.
