The Senior Test Automation Developer will be responsible for development, maintenance and execution of test automation framework and automation test scripts. The quality engineer will be responsible for all phases of functional and regression testing. This person should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with other teams to ensure deadlines are met and application quality and performance meet standards before production implementation. As a Senior QA engineer, this person will be responsible for improving our testing processes and working with our Dev teams to deliver projects with high quality.
Successfully resolve issues within defined service levels.
Isolate issues, determine root cause and outline effective options to resolve issues.
Interact with colleagues and business partners to confirm requirements, as well as ensure solutions meet needs.
Create & update appropriate documentation.
Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting.
Contribute to identifying and implementing continuous improvement concepts to increase efficiency and maximize value to clients.
Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies.
Work independently to estimate, design, and deliver solutions.
Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendors.
Maintain a productive relationship with stakeholders, process owners, technical and functional peers through effective communications and collaboration.
Develop and maintain a strong practical understanding of technologies currently deployed within the department.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Nice to Have
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools with demonstrated experience in Automation role.
Proven track of building test automation and driving efforts for implementing test frameworks on web/mobile or service-oriented architectures.
Hands-on Automation scripting, white box testing experience in Java/Python or similar languages & TestNG/Junit.
8+ years of QA testing, creating test artifacts and reporting defects.
5+ years of strong automation testing experience preferably Selenium and in Cucumber, BDD, TestNG.
Experience with using Ranorex, Playwright, Sikuli and Robot Framework.
Experience performing SAP client/server test automation using Ranorex, Playwright, Sikuli and Robot Framework.
Familiar with Git, Jenkins CI and ability to dive in and build test pipeline.
Strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge and full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
Understanding of modern web applications including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web services and relevant technologies.
Experience with REST Assured API, SOAP UI automation testing.
Deliver high quality work and adapt to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with SaaS products, Agile/Scrum, DevOps.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $97,600.00 - $146,400.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
