You will leverage billions of data points from our games to build dashboards, answer key business questions, and tell compelling stories. This person will conduct in-depth analyses of our data, report on key game metrics, and provide recommendations that will have a direct impact in shaping future game development and company initiatives.What you'll get to create:Strategic Data Analysis:
Go beyond traditional data analysis by proactively identifying key business questions and delivering actionable insights that drive impactful business outcomes.Provide Insights on Player Behavior:
Conduct in-depth analyses to answer specific business questions and develop a deep understanding of player behavior to inform decisions.Present Findings and Recommendations:
Report findings to teams and key stakeholders and offer actionable recommendations based on data analysis.Monitor and Investigate KPIs:
Track and analyze changes in key performance indicators, uncovering trends and underlying causes.Conduct Ad Hoc Analyses:
Fulfill data requests for new product releases, design documents, marketing materials, and user acquisition campaigns.Design Tracking Specifications:
Develop and document specifications for core KPIs, feature additions, experiments, and user acquisition campaigns while also identifying potential areas for impactful analysis.Create Dashboards:
Design compelling dashboards to monitor KPIs and performance for current and future game titles.Ensure Data Integrity:
Check and debug data-related issues to maintain accurate tracking and data quality.Develop Tools and Processes:
Assist in creating new tools and processes for data analysis across the company.Stay Ahead of Industry Trends:
Proactively bring new ideas and methodologies by staying current with trends and best practices in data analysis and gaming analytics.What you’ll bring to the team:Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Math, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or related quantitative field.Professional Experience:
2-4 years as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in technology or gaming.Technical Proficiency:
Advanced SQL skills for querying large and complex data sets. Expertise in BI/visualization tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency in statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and using statistical tools/libraries. Skilled in programming with Python or R.Communication and Presentation:
Excellent skills in communication, presentation, and visual reporting. Ability to clearly convey data insights to various stakeholders.Strategic Thinking:
Ability to identify and recommend key business questions and analyses. Strong analytical abilities with the capability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.Problem-Solving Skills:
Enthusiastic about dissecting problems, identifying solutions, and driving results.Independence and Initiative:
