Description
As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with specialists in their field to expand the functionality of the Health app and other health features on iOS and Apple Watch and support the broader health-related efforts at Apple. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:
Implementing new features in the Health space
Prototyping new ideas to help with initial feature definition
Communicating ideas to the Apple design team and other cross-functional teams
Participating in architecture and code reviews
Building internal tools as needed to help ship high-quality software
Minimum Qualifications
iOS development experience
Experience with both Objective C & Swift
Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit
Proven software architecture experience
3+ years industry experience
Key Qualifications
Ability to understand and break down large features into complete solutions
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of engineers and other teams
BS Computer Science
Familiarity with Wellness or Medical concepts
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
