Description:Responsible for understanding clinical requirements in a healthcare setting and translating those requirements into formal specifications for clinical technology products and services. Leads selection, design, testing, training and implementation of BHSF or Informatics project related initiatives. Maintains overall project plan, including and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of the project. Serves as an Informatics expert. Coordinates daily operational activities as an expert and mentors all clinical staff across BHSF in the specialty area of Informatics. This includes leveraging and optimizing clinical systems to support standardized workflows and processes. Responsible for supporting and training end users on clinical systems functionality and workflows, ensuring optimal use of clinical technology to achieve system wide strategic priorities. Utilizes process improvement and change management skills to promote improved quality and process efficiencies through technology. Works closely with Operational leadership, Subject Matter Experts to achieve Quality, Safety and High Reliability.

Estimated salary range for this position is $89,024.00 - $118,401.92 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications:Degrees:

Bachelors.

Licenses & Certifications:

Registered Nurse.

Additional Qualifications:

A Baccalaureate degree is required.

Clinically relevant experience required.

Four or more years clinical experience in an acute care setting or outpatient services and a minimum of two years of Healthcare Informatics experience or previous job related experience.

Bachelors Degree (BSN or health care related), or must currently be matriculating, or must commit to acquiring a Bachelors Degree within a written and agreed upon timeframe.

Informatics certification (ANCC, CPHIMS, CAHIMS or similar informatics certification) Six Sigma LEAN training preferred.

Project Management skills, demonstrated participating in entity based councils or committees and Informatics initiatives.

Operational knowledge of healthcare including a demonstrated understanding of workflow processes in a clinical setting required.

Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and Project.

Ability to communicate clinical concepts to technical teams and system design concepts to clinical end users and clinical executives.

Ability to work in a dynamically changing environment with competing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
