Cyber Security engineers are responsible for the quality of solution delivery, development, testing and deployment of Cyber-related solutions as part of an Identity and Access Management program. They are involved in creating quality solution components based on the provided requirements to support Cyber efforts. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Cyber Security EngineeringAbility to work in LINUX environmentSupport of implementation and operations of a Privileged User Management (PAM) solutionAnalyzing existing applications to extract and optimize functionalitiesAnalyzing user stories, use cases and requirements for validity and feasibilityCollaborating closely with other Cyber engineers in various cyber security efforts including Identity and Access Management related software, testing, and system engineeringFamiliarity with Ansible set up and configurationWorking knowledge of databases and LDAP directory servicesDeveloping automated deployment scripts when neededDetecting and tracking software defects and inconsistenciesApplying quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycleProviding support and documentation in coordination with the development, testing and deployment teamsBasic Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related fields10+ years of experience as a Cyber security engineer/Software/Systems Engineer or similar role.Experience with LinuxExperience with SplunkExperience with LDAPExperience working in an Agile environment.Have or able to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire.Security Requirements:Active TS/SCI with/PolyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printerFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
