As a Principal Solutions Architect in Verizon Business, you'll be an integral part of a talented team collaborating with our internal Verizon Business partners on their digital transformation. You will join a talented team responsible for crafting and executing strategies that address key business challenges and accelerate pre-sales operations through the power of automation.Your responsibilities will include:Helping to identify, analyze, and evaluate strategies and initiatives that will deliver significant impact to the business priorities.Collaborating with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.Developing Proofs of Concept (POC) to explore and validate new solutions and implementation approaches.Participating in user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and alignment with user needs.Documenting the technical solution and presenting demonstrations to key stakeholders and executive management.Serving as a technical mentor and subject matter expert within the organization, providing peer reviews and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.Continuously enhancing your skill set and product knowledge to remain at the forefront of technology and industry trends. This includes pursuing relevant certifications, attending product training, actively engaging with technical literature, and gaining hands-on experience.What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.Six or more years of relevant work experience.Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.Experience with broad technology concepts including: software defined networking, programming languages (HTML, Javascript, Python), APIs, information security and collaboration tools.Experience effectively communicating and discussing complex business and technical topics to all levels of the organization.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to convert complex product requirements to elegant technical solutions.Even better if you have one or more of the following:Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant engineering disciplines.Two or more years of experience developing and implementing business strategies.Two or more years of experience incorporating design thinking into problem solving.Security, architecture, and industry certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, SAFe, OEM certifications, ITIL Foundations, or similar.Scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, Expect, and Shell.If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.Where you'll be working
