About the RoleWe are looking for a Back-End Engineer/Developer who is motivated to build modern event-driven platforms, who will work on our KIOSK Team.

What You'll Do

Building highly scalable services-oriented architecture with a continuous delivery pipeline.

Participate in design sessions to help improve the overall architecture of the platform.

Work with stakeholders and product owners to understand requirements and come up with solutions.

Utilizing various application integration techniques to communicate with third-party and legacy/back-end systems.

Help with the development of high-volume, high-performance, high-availability, service-oriented Java or Typescript applications using proven Java or Typescript frameworks and technologies.

About You

2-3+ years’ experience in design and development of service-oriented Java applications.

Understands messaging systems and patterns.

Languages: Java and other scripting languages (such as PowerShell). Familiarity with Golang will be an added advantage.

Design and develop reusable libraries, APIs, and microservices.

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL data stores.

High degree of familiarity with Windows OS and Networking knowledge and experience.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, with good verbal and written skills.

Agile/Scrum experience.

Previous experience with Point-of-Sale development/KIOSK or payment systems or other peripheral integrations is a plus but not required.

Familiarity and/or hands-on experience on any cloud platforms (AWS, etc.) is a plus but not required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) or equivalent experience.

The Interview Process

Recruiter interview with a Talent Acquisition specialist.

Live coding challenge/interview with our Back End Engineering Manager.

Final interview with our Program leader KIOSK.

Pay and Benefits (USA)

Expected base salary range $95,000 - $135,000. Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices.

Equity:

All employees within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the Stock Option Plan.

Health Benefits:

All full-time, regular employees and their dependents are eligible for medical, dental, vision and FSA benefits.

Holidays:

The company observes ten (10) paid holidays per calendar year.

Paid Time Off (PTO):

Full-time, regular employees earn 15 days of PTO in the first 12-months of continuous service, and 22 days in subsequent years.

Retirement:

Effective with your employment start date, you will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
