Location: Greenwood Village, ColoradoThe Director, Solutions Architect leads a team of solution architects responsible for solution communication and sign-off for all external application impacts used by digital marketing organizations. Plays a critical role in driving technical excellence, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and optimizing operational efficiency. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides enterprise architectural guidance, and leads initiatives to drive innovation, scalability, and reliability in the organization’s technical enterprise landscape.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the solutions development of complex online ordering platforms while working with system designers to integrate these platforms with the existing systems.Continuously develops and maintains an extensive understanding of online ordering platforms, ordering back-office applications, and integrated enterprise applications.Develops short and long-term architecture roadmaps for applications, aligning development plans and ensuring effective integration among applications.Guides the preparation and execution of long-term strategic initiatives to ensure integration of current and future technologies.Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and execute the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with the digital marketing organization’s goals and objectives.Provides technical expertise and guidance to enterprise architects and development teams.Establishes and enforces enterprise architectural standards, principles, and policies across projects and systems.Collaborates with internal and external teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to understand their requirements and align enterprise architectural solutions with business needs.Defines and drives the enterprise architecture roadmap and innovation strategy.Creates and maintains comprehensive enterprise architecture documentation, including diagrams, design patterns, standards, and guidelines.Leads and manages a team of highly skilled enterprise architects, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.Conducts risk assessments and impact analysis related to enterprise architectural decisions and changes.Facilitates the review and formulation of new software/hardware platforms with a team of architects.Mentors other team members as needed to share knowledge and contribute to the fulfillment of departmental goals.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.Demonstrated analytical skills to solve complex technology and business problems.Effective communication skills to all audience levels along with an ability to synthesize complex technology matters into insightful recommendations; proven ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Ability to influence internal/external key stakeholders and build consensus to desired business outcomes.Ability to manage and foster change.Ability to define key performance indicators/metrics.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Ability to listen and marry multiple points of view from a technical perspective to a business perspective and synthesize against goals for recommendations.Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively and independently multiple projects and tasks.Ability to make decisions using good judgment, and solve problems while working under pressure.Effective business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results.Ability to provide leadership and direction to cross-functional and virtual teams with a mixture of direct and dotted-line reporting.Ability to manage large, complex, diverse, and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole.Required EducationBachelor's of Science in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsCumulative experience with Ordering (preferably in Telecom or Cable industry) design/architecture - 10+ years.Relevant industry (e.g., telecom, cable, mobile) experience - 7+ years.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred EducationAdvanced management or technical degree, Architecture Certification.Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of YearsTechnical oversight of complex Telecom or Cable implementations - 5+ years, Managerial Experience - 5+ years.Here, employees don't just have jobs; they build careers.
