Join Palo Alto Networks as a Security Engineer, where you'll push the boundaries of SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) within our Security Operations Center (SOC). You'll design, test, and build advanced automation playbooks using our XSIAM product, showcasing how to revolutionize traditional SOC practices by eliminating manual processes.In this role, you’ll be instrumental in demonstrating the power of automation within security operations, helping Palo Alto Networks protect its global infrastructure while setting new industry standards for SOC efficiency and innovation.Your Impact
SOAR Playbook Development:
Design, deploy, and maintain automation playbooks that enhance the SOC's ability to detect, respond to, and remediate security threats quickly.Innovation & Optimization:
Develop creative solutions to accelerate security operations, reducing response times and improving incident management across the global organization.Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality playbook deployment and provide feedback to XSIAM engineers and product managers.Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage and maintain cloud-based tools and infrastructure operated by the automation team, ensuring smooth and effective operations.Qualifications
Your ExperienceExperience:
2+ years of hands-on experience with SOAR platforms like XSIAM, XSOAR, Phantom, Tines, etc.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python scripting and experience in automation.Soft Skills:
Strong communication, organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience (including military).Additional Information
